What's on?

Trinity Hall meets with Gonville and Caius Christian Union every Wednesday during term time, at 7.15pm in C4 (the Dean's room). We usually try to be finished by 8.45pm, though people are most welcome to stay and chat afterwards.

We also have a prayer meeting on Friday mornings at 8am in B Dining room, finishing with time for breakfast in hall before a 9 o’clock lecture. These meetings are an opportunity to pray for the university and college, the work of the CICCU, its work with international students, things happening in the wider world, and particularly for each other and our friends as we seek to show God’s love to them and tell them about Jesus.

There are also weekly events and meetings organised by CICCU centrally. Some of these (CICCU Central on Saturday evenings and the Monday Morning Prayer Meeting) are times for us to learn from the Bible and pray together. Others, such as the Friday Lunchtime Talk, are good things to bring friends who aren’t Christians along to.

As telling others about the gospel can be hard on our own and it sometimes helps to have someone else explain it to our friends, we also organise termly evangelistic events in college. We can also help you organise smaller events, such as a 'Food for Thought', by helping with the catering and finding a speaker from a local church.
